The Moulin Rouge is an asymmetric skirt, shorter in the front than at the sides and back. There are two ribbon casings in front that can be adjusted and tied to your desired length. It can be ruched on one or both sides of the front. Hitch up one side for an asymmetric look or both. Wear the skirt sideways for even more of an asymmetrical look! You can wear the sides bustled as well. The band at the hip is wide and forgiving and can be worn up or folded down. Features a metallic purl hem.
Layer this skirt over leggings or tights, dress it up with heels or boots, dress it down with a tank and cardi. Works beautifully as an out-to-dinner and dancing skirt as well as it does on stage. Spins like a dream because of the lovely drape of the fabric!
Due to the nature of the high performance knits we most often use, and the ingenuity of our designs, D.Webb Sizing is very forgiving. Sizes often overlap, especially for our skirts and Debbaloons. As a guide, consider the D.Webb sizes 1, 2, 3, & 4 as described below.
1*= Extra Small to Small (XS/S)
2= Small to Medium (S/M)
3= Medium to Large (M/L)
4= Large to Extra Large (L/XL)
*Due to a supplier issue your Size 1 garment may arrive tagged with "P". "P" equals "1" when it comes to our tags, there is no difference in sizing.
We suggest you store this one inside out due to the texture of the glitter. The glitter is non-shedding. Hand wash in cold water, lay flat. Gentle care will extend the life of your garment.
